Vacation Sweat

Vacation Mode: Delicious food, sleeping in, staying up late, and doing a whole lot of R+R in between. But one little thing I like to make time for still is getting my sweat on. Here are a few easy exercises you can do anywhere + with minimal equipment.

A handful of workout things you can bring/look for at vacay destination:

  • Resistance Bands (my personal fave is a set made by MoneyMaker Class)

  • Medicine balls

  • Dumbbells

  • Yoga Mat

  • Stool / Chair

A few workouts you can do while away, or on the go. I like to pick out a handful of exercises, do 3 rounds x 15 reps each/excercise + mix them up daily with a little bit of cardio.

For the most part all the below exercises can be done with a resistance band, dumbell/medicine ball

  • Shoulder press

  • Lat raises

  • Overhead extensions

  • Bicep curl

  • Dumbbell row

  • Band pull apart

  • Pushups

  • Tricep dip (on a stool or chair)

  • Plank to push up

  • Back squats

  • Front squats

  • Chest fly

  • Lateral lunge

  • Lateral walk

  • Lying lateral leg raise

  • Band squat

  • Standing glute kick-back

15 x Medicine Ball Burpees

20 x Walking lunges with resistance band

20 x Kettlebell Swings

20 x Resistance Band Squats + band pull apart

20 x Resistance band lateral jumps

20 x Glute kick-back (each leg)

20 x Resistance band 360 jumping squats

20 x Glute bridge

20 x Clamshell

Basically, the workout options are endless with a little creativity + a little bit of fitness acessories. Try mixing it up, creating your own, throwing in a mix of cardio building + strength. A great workout wherever you are.
