Uh Huh Honey (Raw + Organic that is)

I had the opportunity to hear Crystal, the owner, operator, and creative soul behind the brand speak, I jumped on it. I'm a big fan of her local Vancouver shop Harlow Atelier

Thoughtfully + aesthetically designed, natural + organic self care goods

She definitely had lots of knowledge bombs to drop, and a lot stuck with me, but one thing in particular (that I never heard of prior to) was to use organic raw honey for face masks, exfoliating, cleansing, lip masks or more.

I’ts A Ritual

Everyday herbal magic for your skin

In short, you apply a layer of organic raw honey over clean, dry skin and let it soak for about 15 minutes or so, then rinse, simple (and awesome) as that. For lips, apply a thick layer of organic raw honey and place a piece of plastic wrap over your lips (or better yet, use Abeego's Reusable Beeswax Wrap) and soak in the goodness for at least 15 minutes, and then rinse clean. This is a great way to prep lips before lipstick (or perhaps when about to use a certain somebody's Matte Lip Kit), or to repair cracked, dry lips.

Because anything I can use for more than one thing is a win in my books.

Mamas, I think this is a such a great tip because who doesn't love some awesome multi tasking. Whether you're doing the multi-tasking or products you're using are, it's always a win. Don't thank me, thank our friend Crystal of Harlow Skin Care for the hot-tip.
